Jamaican Damion Lowe seals deal with Inter Miami FC
– Inter Miami announces Damion Lowe’s signing
The Announcement
Occasional captain and defender for the Reggae Boyz (Jamaica’s National Football Team), Damion Lowe, was signed by Inter Miami FC today. Inter Miami FC is owned by former English footballer David Beckham.
The contract with Inter Miami FC will run through to 2023 and it includes the possibility of an extension to 2024.
Inter Miami praised the level of experience and expertise that Damion Lowe will bring to the club, adding that he will assist with fortifying the club’s backline.

National Football Team- Jamaican Reggae Boyz
In 2016 Lowe made his senior international debut. Accumulating 41 appearances for the Reggae Boyz, his experience spans FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Concacaf Gold Cup and the Concacaf Nations League. He has also scored 2 goals for the Jamaican National team.
Club Level Football
In 2016 Lowe spent the season on loan to Minnesota United and in 2017 he made 18 appearances with the Tampa bay Rowdies. In 2020 he spent a season with Phoenix Rising while playing in the USL Championship.
In November of 2020 he was given the opportunity to play with Al Ittihad in the Egyptian Premier League. He made 32 appearances and managed to score two goals.
Playing for Inter Miami is a huge opportunity for the Jamaican. He will definitely garner quality experience from his time with the club as well as learn new inter-personal skills which could bolster his performance with the Reggae Boyz.
